In the Classroom
Lehrman Community Day School has two divisions: Our Early Childhood Division serves children starting in Splat!, our version of Mommy and Me (generally children who are walking) and our Turning Twos, Toddlers, Nursery, and 4-year-old PreKindergarteners. The curriculum is thematic, integrating general and Jewish topics as well as our Core Knowledge Pre-School Sequence and our Hebrew immersion program enjoyed by our three- and four-year-olds.
The transition to the Core Knowledge Sequence in the Lower (K-2) and Upper (3-5) Elementary Grades is seamless. Throughout the school, our superb arts program taught by passionate and talented professionals, as well as our other athletics and technology specialists enrich the program even further.
The raison d’etre of any Jewish day school, our Hebrew & Jewish Studies programs are integrated throughout the school day and in the lives lived by the children as they experience the Lehrman Difference.
