Welcome to Lehrman
Lehrman Community Day School is pleased to introduce you and your child to our Turning Twos through 5th grade program, where interesting things happen at every turn and children feel challenged and respected.
Lehrman is a pluralistic community in which students are challenged academically with a rigorous general and Hebrew/Jewish studies program. Creative teachers work in small group settings that allow for individualization. Our children gain self-confidence and love of learning.
Because we are a Jewish day school concerned with your child’s moral and spiritual growth, our teachers view themselves as role models. We emphasize community service and mitzvot (commandments or good deeds) along with algebra and chemistry. We teach biology as well as respect and caring for others.
Parents support the school’s mission in concert with faculty and administration as we work to raise our children to be life-long learners, committed to family, the Jewish people, and democracy.
At Lehrman, we raise heroes.
Come see for yourself. Our web site will guide you through the admissions process; or call us for answers to any of your questions. We are here to help in every way.
